Just a few manual shots from my Sony Alpha.

Manifesto

Recently a photographer in my photolab asked me what kind of a person takes photos like these, wanted me to define myself in a few quick words that would explain why, implying it is rather insane, however arousing even for the developer.

I live by the Occam's razor. I like to have little, do good, admire beauty. I'm amazed by the human body, all those tiny details that make you - you. And I don't see all that well by myself, so I feel connected with my pinhole cams, especially that the first experiment shows well how I see without my lenses on. I don't have a visual memory, I am a listener. I don't like sharp and accurate images. I like feelings. I like anticipation, it makes things last longer but more intensely. I savour life, and strive for tasting it all.

I don't need to be the best at what I do. Over the years I noticed that enjoying things to the fullest actually makes it for you at some point. Osho taught me to forget my ego, let go of ambition and love. I do things out of love, am out of love. It's the only thing that can keep you going and never break.
During my studies I've been unintentionally taught to live by a concept.

I am an architect and I like to know how things I use work. It doesn't mean I burn clay details in my oven, though. I want architecture to keep moments too. I want it to tell stories and make use of all senses. That should be my manifesto one day. Cameras out of boxes keep moments. They even create moments on their own.

I fucking enjoy moments.
