old shots from krakow

Old shots they are... You can tell by the quality. I didn't know how to focus and evaluate the composition.
Kraków is a city of action. But not one that I'm a particular fan of. I went there coz I had to - picked up the goddamn English certificate.

Latvia through a little soviet camera

When I was running like crazy on the desolate beach in Daugavgrīva and then rushing back to the bus stop in the heavy downpour, I felt like all the stuff in my head was being sorted out again. I thought there was something in me that made me keep coming back, but it's within the place, it really does have an uncanny sense of catharsis in it, as the others miss Latvia too.

So many new memories, like getting lost in the countryside between allotment gardens and eating apples from the grass, and missing the train back. Even though afterwards I ended up with an injured knee, hip and back I still go running every other day with the boost of energy I got there. And how amazing was Martena who knew the most unpredictable places in Riga as she was the Centrs girl and we spent a morning catching the few last rays of sunshine on a mall rooftop. And the job I didn't get, but still had fun talking with the employees.

So technically, I'm getting better at focusing (yay) and I'm still sporting the no-light-measurement attitude. Seems to be working.
